Tech Review

Mobile Phone Comparisons

Another great way of keeping up with gadgets is to understand their features and specifications. Once you know what a device, for instance a smartphone is, you can understand its features including the display, processor, camera and other facets easily. However, there are two things to keep in mind here. Firstly, a person will be able to understand and appreciate a comparison only when he knows at least basics of a smartphone, such as what is a Snapdragon processor or how the pixel count of a camera matters. Secondly, a spec sheet or a comparison does not give a complete picture of the situation. For example, a comparison may show that a smartphone has a very big sized battery but it will not convey the fact that the battery drain will vary depending on several factors related to usage of the handset. Thus, relying solely on mobile phone comparisons isn't a good idea.

The best way to be fully aware of the tech world in depth is by following and reading How-to up on reviews. There are different kinds of reviews, including previews, hands on reviews, in depth reviews and even paid reviews. Reviews cover details of each specification of devices, allowing users to know what works and what doesn't in a handset. In fact, reviews are the best way to know everything about a device, even when in the learning stage. Several complicated phrases will be explained in reviews and compared with different handsets (like pixel density of screens), so that readers will get a better understanding of the product. So, whether you're a born techie, or a complete novice, it is best to read reviews because even if at first you don't follow everything, in a while, you'll be surprised at how terms like Snapdragon and Corning Gorilla Glass will become a part of your vocabulary.
